Of Clinical Importance

In a word, I consider hospitals only as the entrance to scientific medicine; they are the first field of observation which a physician enters; but the true sanctuary of medical science is a laboratory; only there can he seek explanations of life in the normal and pathological states by means of experimental analysis.

A Short Disclaimer

This blog is for general information purposes only. This is not to be used to self-diagnose or self-analyze. If you have questions in regards to your own health, please contact your primary care physician. I am not a medical doctor.

I have 2 main focuses for this blog:

1) to use it as a collective spot for related articles & advances, analytical values as they correlate to disease states, as well as new & old testing methods that I find interesting. Oh, and some laboratory & medical humor for good measure.

2) to bring laboratory medicine out from behind the curtain.

The clinical pathology laboratory plays an extremely important role in your health care- it's a lot more diverse than you think!
